Join us for a VIRTUAL CONFERENCE connecting Drama Educators across the province on the annual day dedicated to unite Provincial Specialist Associations!
The Association of BC Drama Educators (ABCDE) is proud to announce another creativity-boosting, capacity-building, community-rooted conference on October 22, 2021 (8am-5pm).
Supported by the BCTF and elected by conference delegates annually, your ABCDE executive committee is passionate about provincial advocacy, professional development, and an equitable performing arts education for all BC students.
We are stronger together!
Join us from wherever you are in BC, wherever you are in your teaching journey: Let's learn, collaborate and celebrate together.
Conference fees are just $75 for BCTF members this year, $100 for non-members and only $60 for students/retirees.
Don't forget that membership is included in conference fees, and membership matters at the bargaining table and in our advocacy work.
As a special way to extend our thank you for all that you do, all registered delegates will receive a post-conference goody bag mail-out including a fresh copy of Kim Senklip Harvey's powerful play "Kamloopa" (winner of the 2020 Governor General's Literary Award for Drama) and a few surprises. Many will recall Kim's excellent keynote at our last in-person conference in 2019! Our goody bags will hopefully lift your spirits and diversify your bookshelves while we hope to reunite in person in 2022.
