WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Do you have a former student who has gone on to study the performing arts or technical theatre, and is having some success on stage, or film or in other parts of the theatre world?
We’d like to start featuring some of these former students in our newsletter...
If you know of such a student, please send them a friendly request for this info:
- Name of your high school and Drama teacher
- What was the highlight of your high school drama experience and how did it contribute to your desire to pursue theatre as a career?
-Where did you study post-secondary?
-What are you doing now, in the theatre/film/production world?
-1 or 2 photos then and now
The points above can be brief. No need to write long essays. We’d just like a snapshot of information.
SPOTLIGHT SCHOOL
Show off your program and your theatre.
Please send in the following info:
-school name and location
-classes and programs you offer
-current productions
-a brief description of your theatre space
-teachers in your program
-a photo or two
It can all be in point form, so easy peasy!
TRAVEL DIARY
Have you done a theatre trip to London, or LA, or New York, or somewhere else? Share your experience with a short write up and a few photos.
SHOW PHOTOS
We love to share production photos with our members. Send yours in (but make sure your students have filled in the FOIPPA form in your district.)
OTHER SUBMISSIONS
Lesson ideas? Warm up games? Articles about anything theatrical? Share your knowledge.
