Association of British Columbia Drama Educators

The ABCDE is a Provincial Specialist Association (PSA) of the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF)

The ABCDE supports an equitable, accessible and integral theatre education for all students in safe spaces where creative risk is valued across BC.

The ABCDE acknowledges that we teach, work and learn on the unceded traditional homelands of more than 200 First Nations representing a diversity of cultures, languages, and performance traditions rooted in place-based stories stretching back 10,000 years. We endeavour to go beyond acknowledgement whenever possible, taking action to understand the truth on our collective path toward reconciliation.
